This Day in
Elvis History

Refresh that page for a new quote. Here's one of them:
"Some people tap their feet, some people snap their fingers, and some people sway back and forth. I just sorta do ‘em all together, I guess."
—Elvis Presley in 1956, talking about his way of moving on stage.

I saw this in 2023, and it had only been on YouTube for a year or so. It's wonderful. I had news about Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, The Beatles, and Chuck Berry.

Graceland page with information on such things as this: "For the ultimate Elvis experience, you'll want to stay at Elvis Presley's Heartbreak Hotel located across the street from Graceland. It features 24-hour-a-day Elvis movies, a deluxe continental breakfast, heart-shaped pool, and more." The main link is just a store now, and the hotel is marked as "permanently closed."

June 30, 2006, Priscilla and Lisa Marie Presley gave a tour of Graceland to Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi of Japan (who is a huge Elvis fan), and President Bush the Younger.

But even they weren't allowed upstairs.

The article I had linked that said that Mr. Koizumi and President Bush were not allowed upstairs is no longer available to link. I did save the photo in a better way.
