Does anyone have any recommendations on books, games, anything that
explains inflation, economics, and currency (I guess that would all be
ecomomics) on a level that a 10 and 13 year old can understand very
clearly? We had this loooonnngg discussion last night and we were
able to answer most of their questions but there are some that weren't
answered satisfactorily for them. Some things on the subject boggle
my mind a little so it is kind of hard to answer some of their
questions.

I'm an economist and have taught college-level economics for 30
years. Want me to talk to them? They could email questions, if you want.

Heidi,
I really enjoyed the book "Whatever Happened to Penny Candy" by Richard
Maybury. The outside says, "A fast, clear and fun explanation of the
economics you need for success in your career, business, and investments."

VERY conservative point of view, though, so just keep in mind that it
is not unbiased.

That's good to know. It's been a while since I read it and I remember not
agreeing with everything in the book, but I also learned a lot from it.

The Ing group, where we have our savings located, as a resource site for
educating about money, including 20 downloadable lesson plans on a wide
