You bet! No one here likes it either. The boys *might* eat it if it's
fried and not gooey at all, but they're not fans! <g> Ben won't eat it
if he can help it. No okra in my vegetable soup! :-(

You growing any this year?

I need to get you down here again!

I'm glad to see you on UnschoolingBasics!! We've missed you!

Oooh...me too, me too!:)

Okra grows so nice and so tall. It was one of the only things I could
grow well in Pensacola. I never did learn how to cook it, but that's
next. I always loved it fried.

I love all those things. Collards, turnips (and greens), kale, spinach,
raddiccio, all sorts of lettuces (except nasty plain old head lettuce),
dandelion greens, oak leaves, mmmmmm. But okra is just one of the vilest
things I've ever eaten. I hate it fried, raw, or boiled. I wish I could
find one of my book manuscripts because I wrote a whole piece on okra once.
I thought I had found it earlier, but it was my collection of "Missy Prissy
and Sissy" stories.

LOL My Grandmother always told us dandelion greens would make us
beautiful. Maybe I should eat them more often.
