Attempt to change Australian Unschooling Conference to "Shift"

and some problems with honesty
and evidence of another plan started and abandoned

Notes gathered in July 2013, in a group project to verify claims made by Dayna Martin about various projects and credentials.

Sometimes there is overlap, but I didn't want to edit the images at all. Skip down a bit if you've aready read some.

Quoting from the image at the left:
Sue, what do you feel we haven't been honest about? I really want to help bring us back to the focus on love, kindness and respect.

And when Suzi explains that the page is called one thing, but the topic is something else NOT limited to Australia, Dayna responds:
-=-Quite simply, this page is 'Australian Unschooling Conference', yet it is not.-=- Again, your perception.

Note to the left, that Dayna intended to rename the Australia conference and take it "to tour Europe and US." Dayna said (above) that the organizers were herself, "Maree, Brit and Quinn [Eaker]." None of those three was in the discussion, it seems.

Someone pointed out that Joe was presenting himself as one of the organizers, and an authority on the conference.

This last one is about posts being removed. It doesn't follow directly after the other conversation, I don't think:

Transcription of Dayna's response to "Please don't delete my posts without asking" (at left):

Tamara, I wouldn't delete your posts. I have no idea what happened to them. I am not about censoring or moderating. I want everyone's voice to be heard!

The images above were taken and sent to me July 29, 2013. It is expected that they will be deleted. Even at that time, some of those involved in the group couldn't see all the posts for having been blocked on facebook, by Dayna.

This was sent by Bob Collier, in Australia:

A quick follow up having just read through the Facebook conversation at this page: /problems/daynamartin/shift.html

The Shift is a New Age concept. Explained very briefly here, for example: https://cof-interspiritual-mindfulness.blogspot.com.au/2012/07/shifted-by-dick-sutphen.html

"The Shift" also relates to the Mayan prediction of the world ending in 2012, and there was a 'save the planet' type movie by that name somewhat in the style of "The Secret" that seems to have ended up as the 2009 drama "The Shift" featuring New Age "guru" Wayne Dyer.

It seems to me that when Dayna Martin writes, "Shift was a name to reflect the expansion of ideas discussed at the conference to better describe it. I suppose we could call it the Australian Birthing, Unschooling, Parenting, Health and Unjobbing Conference ... but it may be a bit long. ... We also had the idea to tour Europe and [the] US sharing these ideas with others. Shift seemed like a great name to encompass it all", she's being disingenuous. As a subscriber to the Abraham-Hicks perception of reality, she would know exactly where the idea of "The Shift" comes from.

Where Dayna Martin's "Shift" went to, I don't know. The Australian Unschooling Conference apparently became the Conscious Parenting & Natural Learning Conference, held in Byron Bay on the northern New South Wales coast in August 2012 with Dayna Martin featuring alongside Naomi Aldort and Robin Grille.

An afternote:
You can add my name to the Shift comment if you wish. I was a subscriber to Dick Sutphen's newsletter "Soaring Spirit" for a while some years ago, and "The Shift" was one of the topics mentioned from time to time, which is why I looked in the first instance for something he'd written about it. It's pretty much in the same boat, so to speak, as the indigo children belief. —Bob Collier
