The original plan was for this to be bound, but various things changed and it stayed in loose-leaf format until it was put online.
The graphics were done by Mistress Rodema de Rohan in 1991. The black background was photocopied. Then the colored layer was screen printed in one pass with a Riso Gocco Printer by AElflaed/Sandra, and the ink was raised with clear embossing powder and the heat of a broiler. Sorry that doesn't show so well here, but there is close-up bird detail below. The best copies of the cover went to those who bought the book. The best of those remaining in 2006 was scanned for this page.
