in a neighbouring town. It was their 85 anniversary (no cost field trip
except for some goodies I bought there).
It is a tiny little Italian grocery and they were having a big
celebration. They carry all kinds of exotic sauces and wild mushrooms on
occaision and specialty breads from some snooty bakery out Toronto way.
An Epicures dream store: and soooo tiny. It stll looks like and early
1900's store except for the coolers for the veggies.
Well they had olive oi and baguette out for tasting and I fell in love
with one of the brands which I found to my surprise was $25 for about 2
1/2 cups.
Talk about sticker shock. But you really could have sat and dipped bread
all day it was sooo delicious!
I told dh that I want some for Xmas!!!
