Milk Protein/sugar question
One of the Wechts
So, is the protein in milk enough to combat the potential surge from its own lactose sugar and/or the sugar in cookies etc?

I don't know about the balance within its own self, but it's not enough for
hypoglycemics to drink milk to come up out of the dark yuck. Cheese or meat or
nuts or fish or eggs work.
