the "un" in unschooling
pam sorooshian
A friend wrote this about the "un" in "unschooling"
"I never see the negation as negative in a value-judgment sense when I
use the word--to me unschooling is as positive as unchaining,
unbinding, unleashing, unfolding, unfurling, unlimiting...."
I was wondering what other "un" words it means to people....I'd like to
collect a whole page full of them.

But that word construction difference is something that we never
developed for "un" I guess? JJ

Maybe you could sneak "unified" in there. It's not a negative "un" so
it doesn't really fit, but it might be a good way to end the list! Or
maybe "un-unified" would describe everyone doing things their own
way...

I'm usually a lurker, but I thought of these:
uncoerced, unadulterated, unquenchable (as in a child's interest if
left to learn at their pace) and unbarred.
Laura in CA :)....new to unschooling and learning everyday!!

I suppose "understanding" doesn't count! ;)
I also like the word "unorganized" even if it is not correct grammar, as
distinct from "disorganized".
