I live in northeastern Nebraska, we may be near each other.  I know a family with young kids who lives in Alceister (sp?) SD, they are planning to hs too.

Re: [Unschooling-dotcom] SE South Dakota Oh wow! We probably are pretty near each other since I just have to drive a mile to get into Nebraska. We're about 10 minutes away from Crofton, NE. Alcester is probably an hour or less away from us to the north.

My map is in my husband's car and I can't remember offhand where Crofton is, I don't think it is awfully far though.  Where do you enter NE?  I'll ask my friend if it is okay to pass on her email address, I know she is trying to start a hs support group up in that area.  One of her sisters is moving to Elk Point and also has three young children.  They will be so glad to find others!

   We cross over to Nebraska over the Meridian Bridge on Highway 81. If we kept going for about an hour we'd hit Norfolk. That's wonderful that there may be more hs'ers moving nearby. I'll also be glad to meet others.
