That's interesting, since apparently stevia's illegal over here, we can't buy seeds for it.  Nothing to do with the sugar growers and Nutrasweet company at all...

Books being read ... currently, The Low Blood Sugar Handbook, and the
companion cookbook by Ed and Patricia Krimmel.  Not as exciting as other
books, but timely for me as I recently discovered I have  hypoglycemia, and I
am trying to cook food without sugar.  I came across stevia, the herbal
sweetener, and have used it some with mixed results. I have also used some
fructose, and like it better, so far.  Outside of that,  I am combing over my
garden books!
