Maybe because the courses are made for men? At 5-4 and in the Marines I was
short. Several of the walls/logs were hard for me also but I made it. As for
the rifle range I had not used a gun prior either. I had issues with the windage
clicks but qualified a Marksman. As for the hand gun I was a bad shot. I
qualified but just.
