Re: [Unschooling-Discussion] Biology
[email protected]
As I've mentioned before, my oldest (12th grade, coming out of public school)
wants to "do" biology in addition to Algebra II. She's picked out an algebra
book, but I have no clue if there is any biology program out there that would
be interesting, not just a textbook. We're going to frequent the library,
but can she learn biology from regular books? Experiments? Is there a
"curriculum" out there that anyone would suggest over another? I know, I know...this
list is for unschooling, but it's what SHE wants. She wants to try and get
into college the middle of the year and has her head set on
nursing/anesthesiology. Thanks.

Might help. Also you might check with a local college and see if they offer
a biology course that she could audit..
