The Mowery Family
Well
Lisa, my husband just about freaked when I decided to nurse. His ex-wife
never nursed and he felt "odd" about it. I told him either grow
a uterus or deal with it. His reply was, fine - but you are not nursing
past 6 months, again I told him to "pack sand". Dana finally
nursed from me at 4 mos (she was sickly, I had to pump until "she"
decided to suckle), and nursed until 22 mos when I dried up (my dad died,
emotional saga). These men are out there, and until they learn the breast
are there for feeding children, not their pleasure - us mom's have to endure
their "crapola".
Warmly,

Deep Breath---I have to ask this question. How on earth does a man allow or
not allow a woman to nurse? Beyond the threat of violence, how could a
husband make this choice for a woman?
I'm just a tad baffled by the whole concept. :(
