The last digest I received was 3321. Is anyone else having difficulty today?

I came online to see where everyone went. I hadn't gotten an e-mail
for many hours. I don't know what the deal is.

I've been offline all day and came on just now at almost 11 pm to check my
hundreds of expected messages and found only 59! I thought it was just me
(and aol.) Maybe not?

I wonder if it's an aol problem or a yahoo problem?? I haven't been
getting messages from the other lists I'm on, either. Bummer. Does
anyone have a suggestion as to what to do?

Sounds like an AOL problem. You, Sandra, someone who wrote to me off list
are all on AOL. I seem to be getting all the messages.

Nothing to do but wait for it to clear up. Or write and complain which has
the same effect.

Several AOL people on several different lists (myself included)are getting
missing messages, verified by checking the website for messages. I wonder if
they aren't skipped on digest, but who wants to wait a whole day for that <

I have been going and reading at the web more. AOL's message boards were
down last night for a while, so hoping maybe they were fixing some
things......but there still aint much talking going on here, aside from that.
Holiday weekend and people are traveling?

Well I gotta go boil a ton of eggs LOL

Happy Easter!

From my lists, I usually have in the several hundreds/day. I have had thirty
or so a day for the last three. Yahoo must have the hiccoughs again!

I'm not even on AOL but I didn't get any messages from this list for an
entire week. Then suddenly this morning, they're back. Weird.

I was having so much trouble with Yahoo and Hotmail that I just gave
up. I've been reading and posting at the Yahoogroups website without
any problems.

Life is good.

That makes sense. Lists are the bulk mail of the internet. First class mail
WILL be delivered, but flyers from the grocery store (or yahoogroups) might
end up on the floor of the mailman's truck.

I'll save that for next time someone wonders. I might not be able to find it,
but if some of you say "Sandra, didn't you save that fine explanation of why
mail bounces?" I'll look for it.
