It's too diluted to make the smell stick I think.
I've done it a few times and it really does soften the laundry nicely. No
smell, but I only used 1/4 to 1/2 cup.

Apple Cider vinegar is useful for weight loss, varicose veins & much more. I
sometimes use white vinegar for softening, but I don't like the containers!!
Stats show that only approx. 17% of our 'recyclables' get recycled. So, I
use the sheets. Torn/cut into quarters. I use vinegar when I can hang things
outdoors.
