underwear check at school dance

This is the kind of story that both shocks and sickens me. It amazes me that School Officials will question what we are doing to our kids. Well what I want to know, is who gives them the right to question a girls underwear?

Rebecca,
I agree! What right do they have. At that age they
are vulnerable. I know if they tried it with me now
at my age. I would tell them where to go. I read
this and it turned my stomach.

I almost think this is too bizarre to be true - Can you imagine?? Everytime I read something about schools - and their behavior - I am so glad to be able to have my kids at home :)

Heather,
I know what you mean. It does sound too bizarre to be true... But I can tell you that my nephew just graduated 2 years ago and he told us some bizarre stories that happend to the kids in his school, (at the hands of officials). My husband is currently working in a pHs. He is teaching at a Magnet School, he teaches classes to prepare the kids for their Microsoft Certifications. Some of the things he tells me would really shock you.
