Actually, I think she has quite a few homeschoolers on her list - at
least she refers to them quite a bit. I like a lot of what she says.
She fits quite well with my unschooling philosophy.

I dont think Flylady is dependant on having time without your children at all..at least it's not that way for me..
Her philosophy of 15 minute 'chunks' of time to do your routines frees up more time for my daughter and I..I also find that when I am doing my '15 minutes' in my 'zone' (area of cleaning for the week..) she will normally head to her room and do her room then...It hasnt happened overnight but she is modeling the actions she sees me take and I am not complaining!!
Anyhow; one of the staff of flylady is a homeschooler..Her name is Leanne Ely ..she has several books out I believe one is a unit study on nutrition for kids..

are super organized things.
Use fishing tackle boxes to store jewelry or make up in. They're also
great for nails, screws and stuff like that.
I can pack a ton of stuff in a tiny space:-)

I found the flylady thing to be too confusing. I like the information I got from a book I got out of the library called "Bonnie's Household Organizer" by Bonnie McCullough.

>As soon as I saw the thing about wearing shoes, I was outta there!!!I do Flylady *my* way, and it works for me. I wear shoes because I already
did, but they aren't lace ups. I don't worry about shining my sink except
when I've just finished doing dishes. I've made up my own routines, and I
have a ways to go with them, but my baby steps are working. My house is
way cleaner and tidier than it used to be.
