relative frequency in people with hysteria, i.e. out of body experiences,
etc..

But dissociation is a continuum, and hysterical reactions (using the term
clinically, not colloquially) are somewhere near the middle while DID is
way out at the end. Everyone experiences some kinds of dissociation.
