I was already in the hospital and on morphine when I had mine. I can't
imagine what I would have felt had I been elsewhere!
When I was in ccu, the nurses let my dh and my middle daughter in
whenever they wanted. As long as there were no disruptions or noise,
they were okay with visitors at any time. It really helped me to have dh
there. Even if he was snoozing in a chair or reading and ignoring me
totally, just the presence helped.

I cannot *imagine* what races through your mind when you're laying in the
hospital in the CCU and still having young kids you need to nurture and
love. I'd go crazy. Somehow in my warped mind, it would be easier to deal
with if one was old, had grown kids and....well, you get my point.
