Sinus infection

I know that many of you here are into natural healing...any ideas on how to
get rid of one without going on antibiotics?
Thanks!

Oxen Gallstone Powder from your local Asian herb shop, that'll do the
trick. Its pricey, but it won't suppress the immune system into forming
some awful dis-ease later down the road.

(sorry if this is a duplicate. First try didn't seem to go through)
My doctor stresses using a humidifier during the cold months to ease
sinus problems.
Also, my dd recommends Zicam, a non-prescription drug found in most
drug stores.

I used goldenseal to get rid of a sinus infection a few years ago.
It's probably not a good choice if you have high blood pressure. Ask at
your health food store for a good organic, cultivated variety as the wild
plant is endangered. You can buy it in capsule form. It burns a little
in the tummy,so eat first. Also, have you tried a Netti pot? (sp) I've
never used one but have heard good things about them.
Sinus infections hurt like heck! I hope you feel better soon.

charming regularity about four times a year, so I know how to deal with them
sans antibiotics.
I sometimes use sudafed and tylenol for a few days if the pain is bad, and
after that I drink a LOT of hot tea and hot chocolate to "break things up".
They always cure themselves this way after about five or six days, about two
of those days are feverish enough that I don't drive, etc.

Everytime I eat too much dairy (like an ice cream
binge - my downfall <vbg>) my sinuses get very blocked
up. I would not have recognised the connection had I
not gone off dairy while breastfeeding my dd.

I get them if I don't drain right. HOT HOT SPICY foods and/or
horseradish will sometimes break it for me.
