My dh endured many of his co-workers going on the Atkins diet a few years
ago. He said most of them became terribly grumpy and difficult to be
around. Of course, most never actually read the book....just followed
along the diet. No pre-diet blood levels, etc., no understanding of what
ketosis is and does. I read the book and thought.......well, it sounded
very unhealthy. Oh, and I believe ALL of them regained the weight +
....looks like anyway.

The big mistake that so many folks make when they go on that diet is not
drinking enough water.
