From _Icky Sticky Foamy Slimy Ooey Gooey Chemistry_
Light corn syrup
baking soda
red food coloring
four parts syrup (they were using a test tube, so teaspoons?)
two parts baking soda
ten drops of red food coloring (or more, if you're making a greater quantity)
Add just a little warm water and stir until it's dark red and sticky but
runny.
BUT the main purpose of this one was to then pur vinegar on the "wound" you
paint and watch it start to bubble and foam.
It says you might not want to leave it on too long because the red food
coloring will stain after a while.
If that's not a good one (you could experiment today and see if it's too
sticky, maybe), I bet if you go to google.com and enter fake blood recipe
there will be five or a dozen.
