2001 California Home=Education Conference
August 17-19, 2001
The 2001 California Home=Education Conference will be held at the Radisson in
Sacramento, CA on August 17-19, 2001. The conference, in its eleventh year,
is presented by the HomeSchool Association of California, a grassroots,
nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization. The conference is a phenomenal
source of information for new and seasoned homeschoolers and for those
looking into homeschooling as an educational alternative for their family.
The conference attracts over 1,000 attendees.

Keynote speakers include Linda Dobson, author of Homeschoolers' Success

Growing Without Schooling will serve as emcee.
Featured and workshops presenters include David Albert, author of And The
Skylark Sings With Me; Cecile Andrews, author of Circle of Simplicity; Don
Asher, author of Cool Colleges for the Hyper-Sensitive, Self-Directed, Late
Blooming, and Just Plain Different; Mary Griffith, author of The
Homeschooling Handbook and The Unschooling Handbook; Marty Layne, author of
Learning at Home; and Laurel Schmidt, author of Seven Times Smarter; Sandra
