I know what you mean but I think the problem lies in defining ANYONE by
how they earn their money. It's one aspect of their lives but it doesn't
have much to do with whether we'll have something important in common with
the person (usually) and I wish we would get away from that being the most
common first question when people meet (so what do you do...translation, how
do you earn your money?)

Anyone see O'Reilly's Spin Factor tonight, speaking of SAHMs, etc. All
about how it is the governments fault that kids are in daycares and that
daycares are what cause violent kids. The other side of the equation was
the editor from Working Women who said that working has no effect on kids
because women who are happy in their jobs raise happy kids. Both said 75%
of the mothers in the U.S. are working because they have to. I'm not buying
the have to part.

yeah I thought I had to, until I decided not to and realized the impact was minimal after not needing a second car, not payiny as much in taxes, take out food, wardrobe and such.

If I wasn't disabled, on ssi and receiving other income from the state for Naomi...I would indeed have to work. But I'm thankful that the Lord provided a way for me to be able to stay home and unschool naomi.
