To all,
Perhaps we could initiate a TOPIC OF THE WEEK for this list. Even
though the our "off topic" tangents tend to be quite interesting, a
topic of the week might help us stay a little more on track as far as
discussing homeschooling and unschooling issues. Any thoughts?

Sounds like unit studies.
I object.

You can put up a new topic every week and will no doubt get responses to it.
You should! Change topics whenever you want. But expecting unschoolers to
stay on topic and drop a topic because we hit the end of the line on the
calendar will be like herding (indoor OR outdoor) cats.

Unschooling is life, life is unschooling, what's 'off-topic?'
