OMG, it's contagious. We dug out the sheet music for Christmas songs last
night.

Well, funny you mention that. My kids brought out the Winnie the Pooh
Seasons of Giving video last week, which they have now watched about 5 times
in 5 days, and now they're asking for the the Dave and Becky There Goes Santa
video (which I really can't handle), and Rudolph. They saw a billboard for
the new Grinch movie today, and they asked for the Grinch, too. And we've
had 95+ degree weather here. Maybe that's why. They just can't stand summer
any longer!!!
One of my friends has her Halloween decorations up already. Every room in
the house is filled with cool stuff. And another friend gave me a really
neat skeleton she made from gallon milk containers.
OOh, speaking of Christmas videos, my favorite one we bought last year is by
William Wegman, the photographer with the Weinmariners (sp?)., It's called
Fay's 12 Days of Christmas. We highly recommend it, especially if you like
dry humor.
Any other favorites out there?

My 3 year old dd will watch/listen to anything having to do with Christmas
all year long. I can't take her to the library as she always goes to the
Christmas section to pick out books. I need a break sometimes!!

We always dig out Miracle of 34th Street (Natalie Wood, of course, seeing
as how we grew up in the same town <g>) and Its A Wonderful Life. The
kidlets start asking about the middle of November when we are going to "do
Christmas" and we usually let them start with all the Winnie-the-Pooh and
Muppets stuff and save those two for right before Christmas.
