In hard cover for under 10.00? Man, I am jealous-I want Costco here!! If
anyone else has to go to the regular book stores, don't forget to ask for
your homeschool discount!

A letter of acceptance to hs from the school dept. usually is. When you
recieve it you can shrink it down, laminate it , and carry it in your
wallet.

Just a quick comment based on my own experience getting
discounts.......
Sometimes it's easier to ask for an * educator's * discount. Not a
teacher's discount 'cause they will almost always ask to see your union
card or state/provincial teachers card.
A lot of places don't want to give a discount to Hs'ers justifying it by
saying that any parent could ask for the same discount whether they are
homeschooling or not.
Sometimes a support group membership card is good enough, sometimes it's
not.

Grrrr, I was soooo peeved the other day. I told the kidlets to the Dollar
Tree and they have a sign that says teacher discounts. The one cashier was
extremely rude when I asked about the discount and said they meant "real"
teachers and that "real" teachers have credentials. The other cashier did
give me one of their forms and even though it said credentialed teachers, I
am going to write them and find out.

Yes, hardcover. They have them at different times for $9.97 and $10.97 but
never more than that. I don't think bookrate postage would be all that
much if folks who don't have a Costco would like me to pick them up for
them.
