Old urban legend, go to http://www.urbanlegends.com/ulz/kbj.html where you
can read:

========================
Is it True?
Yes, it was true for about two hours. Kelsey Brooke Jones was found and
returned to her mother about two hours after being reported missing.

Police located the child watching TV at a neighbor's house shortly after
being notified by her mother. Unfortunately, someone had sent out the plea
for help and it continues to circulate long after the child was found.
===========================

It is so easy to pass on e-mail messages that we often don't hesitate to do
so when it seems like we might be able to help someone else.

However, it is a good idea to handle e-mail much the way you would handle
postal mail. If you received the same message by postal mail, would you be
willing to make copies of it, address envelopes and pay for the postage to
deliver it to friends? If it's not important enough to go through that
trouble, then it probably isn't important enough to forward by e-mail.

It is usually best to make some attempt to verify a message before passing
it on. If it can't be verified, it probably shouldn't be passed on. In
general, if a message starts out with a request to send it to everyone you
know, you probably shouldn't pass it on to anyone else.

Please note that my intent is not to criticize the original poster, but to
offer friendly advice to everyone on the list. Even veteran Internet users
get taken in by the many hoax and urban legends that circulate on the net!
Some of them make interesting reading so you may want to visit some of the
web sites (like http://www.urbanlegends.com) that debunk them.
