I'm at blogspot.com, as are most of the folks I know locally who have blogs. It's free, easy to set up and now that I've learned to upload my pix one at a time, it's very easy to format text & photos on my blog.

I've found Blogger.com to be easy to work with. They have templates all set up that you can use by just filling in the blanks. Pretty simple.

Blogger.com is super easy!
That's what I use and I didn't know anything about blogging until I started
there, and it's been a piece of cake. They walk you through everything, and
it's very exciting the first time you push that PUBLISH button!

Which is the same thing as Blogspot. It's backed by Google.

They've just started implementing categories on some blogs so it's
getting even better.
