My friend Carolyn Pihl made this cake. I sent her a note today (on my anniversary, as I'm making this page) and she responded, "God, has it been 25 years? I remember doing that cake like it was yesterday. Carrot and chocolate."

I'm glad to still be in contact with Carolyn, and am planning to visit her in England in late July this year!
