Greetings Family, Friends, and Shipmates,

It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing and Memorial Service for Samuel "Grant" Kerslake aka Lord Vergus.

Lord Vergus passed on May 19th while serving his country on a Navy helicopter flight. All 5 Crew Members of Indian 617 were lost.

Now we Honor this Hero and Warrior with Family, Friends and Shipmates at Breakers Beach, NAS North Island, San Diego at 3:30 pm on Sunday, June 7th.

Services will include Military Honors and a Warriors send off to Vahalla . If you would like to bring something for the Viking Ship burn and His Journey please keep in mind no weapons of any kind are allowed on base. If you have any questions about the Memorial or Warriors send off to Vahalla, or would like to speak at the Memorial please contact me.

Some things to prepare you for your trip to NAS North Island...

-If you would like to attend you MUST have you full modern name, and the name of anyone with you to me by Wed, June 3rd for base security purposes. [email protected]

-You'll need to arrive early to have car license and registration checked for base passes. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Memorial Fund for the Crew of Indian 617.
