Nature Writing with Cynthia Reynolds-

This year's program features Cynthia Reynolds, award-winning
journalist and author of the new children's book The Far- Flung
Adventures of Homer the Hummer. The students will explore the world
of nature writing as Ms. Reynolds shares with them the process of
writing her children's story book. MAS will be selling her book
and Ms. Reynolds has graciously offered to provide each family with
a free educational teacher's guide. For more information about the

Creatures of the Night with the Organization for Bat Conservation-
Students will learn about creatures of the night from the
Organization for Bat Conservation as they discover the most
fascinating features and adaptations of many nocturnal animals
including bats, flying squirrels, owls, and more. Live animals will
be shown including bats, owls, and a few surprises. To find out

Registration opens a 9:00 am
Program starts at 9:30 am
Children & the families will have the opportunity to attend both
programs.
Recommended ages: 7 years old to 15 years old
Cost: $5 per a person or $ 2o family rate (for a family of five).
Group Rate: 20 or more people (includes parents & children) at $ 4 a
person
