Do you have a daughter that might be interested in having an e-mail pen pal?
My daughter is 10 and would love to meet some other unschool girls to e-mail back and forth with. They don't have to be the same age. Her closer friends range in age from 7-14.

Let me know!

My daughter (8) joined the new yahoo group Anne Ohman created for kids:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/weareunschoolers/

She says there is lots of chatting going on between kids of different
ages. She did the e-pal thing for a while but it didn't really take
off like she hoped. She told me this is easier because it's lots of
kids to talk with instead of one person and everyone can share the
things they like with everyone else. I think she really likes that
it's other unschoolers. She can talk freely about video games and
Harry Potter, lol. Maybe your daughter would enjoy it, too?

Wildflower what a great idea! My son who is 9 would also love to do this
with a new friend of almost any age. He does not care whether they are a boy
are a girl, but thinks that a boy would probably enjoy his silly jokes
more...

Wildflower,

I have a daughter that is 10, and she would love to
email your daughter. Let me know if this works for
you. My daughter's name is Alexandra, but she goes by
Alex, or Al. If your daughter would like they can
email each other, and can use my email addy:
psychomom95@....

Thanks,

Hi Wildflower
I have a 10 year old that would be keen to have an unschooling e-mail friend.
We've been unschooling for nearly a year and have not found any local unschoolers.
I also have an 8 yo son and although they do enjoy playing together, it's nice for girls to have girlfriends.
Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Hi Stacey,

I also have a 10 year old daughter that is interested
in having an unschooling email friend. Her name is
Alex, and we are in our second year of unschooling,
but haven't met any local unschoolers either. If your
daughter would like to email mine, she can use my
email addy: psychomom95@.... This is going to
be lots of fun.
