I have one on the top of my foot, but it's my only one (for now anyway....)
so I can't compare pain. It's small so it was quick. I always say it felt
like a hot cat scratch. The color fades faster on your feet. Some tattoo
technicians won't tattoo you on your foot or won't guarantee the work. Mine
did fade a bit, but I'm still happy with it 10 years later. My sister got
one on the bottom of her foot and it's almost completely faded.
HTH's!

BTW, what is the current thought on getting tattoos while breastfeeding? No
go?

Momma

I have vines and flowers going around my ankle and onto the top of my foot. Yes, it hurt like crazy. More than my others but in the end it looks beautiful and I love it. I take extra care to put sunscreen on it so that I won't have to get it redone like I've had to do with others that have faded because of sun exposure. It was well worth it. A little while of pain but the outcome is great (and permanent!)
