On the afternoon of December 27, people will gather for Albuquerque ALLive, for a small symposium in my own town. :-)

Speakers are myself, Hema Bharadwaj, Jill Parmer and her son Luke Davidson, and from England, Julie Daniel, her husband James and son Adam!  My husband, Keith Dodd, will show people  how to do knotwork (on paper, which we will relate a bit to the Indian artform Hema will demonstrate on concrete or a table—rangoli).

There will be art, then.  And games.  And a trip to the top of the Sandia Mountains—Sandia Crest, by tram (for those who want to go).

More information is here, and in a day or two I will provide a way for people who help who aren’t able to attend.

The hotel room rate is good for another 17 days or so, but it’s not an expensive hotel, so last-minute registrations won’t be too expensive.  They have suites, too, for about $75.  :-)
