Its been great to read about all the questions we parents have about Unschooling. It certainly is a different mindset and has its own set of fears and rewards. I just came across this series of free downloads from various conferences hosted by Pam Laricchia which many of you have likely heard about. She has a great blog that I can relate to, (even though my son is not currently being unschooled, we have in the past and will likely be returning to it soon...:)

Here is the intro to the links and you can chose whatever topic and speaker you want. Enjoy!!

Do you enjoy listening to parents passionately sharing their unschooling experiences? If so, you’re in for a treat!

I hosted the Toronto Unschooling Conference for six years, from 2006-2011. It was an amazing experience and I loved meeting many wonderful unschooling families. Though I no longer host the conference, the unschooling insights shared by the speakers over the years are timeless.

I’m thrilled to have these talks available to you for free. Have fun!

I’m glad Pam Laricchia has made all her recordings freely available.

There might be a few ideas there that wouldn’t be fully defended in this discussion.  That’s okay.  Whenever anyone considers any information, think whether it makes sense with what you’re already doing and the way you want to be.  That includes anyone’s site or presentation. :-)

Don’t do what you don’t understand, and don’t operate on blind faith, but on reason.

Here are some other things, some for download, some to hear online, a few for sale from HSC (Homeschool Association of California).
